Web Design in Kelowna Built to Book Customers

Custom websites for Okanagan businesses: fast, easy to find on Google, and connected to your CRM from day one so every enquiry gets answered.

The short answer

What does a Kelowna web design project include?

A DMK web design project includes strategy, custom design, conversion-focused copy, on-page SEO structure, a fast mobile build, forms connected to your CRM, accessibility checks, analytics and launch support. Most small business sites take four to eight weeks, start from $2,500, and include an optional monthly care plan for hosting, updates and improvements.

Who is this for?

  • Kelowna and Okanagan service businesses whose current site looks dated, loads slowly or doesn't bring in enquiries.
  • Trades, clinics, wineries, tourism operators, real estate teams and professional firms that win work from local search.
  • Owners who want a site that connects to their booking, CRM and follow-up instead of a digital brochure.
  • New businesses that need a credible, well-structured site before they spend on ads or SEO.

What's included in every build?

  • Custom design

Designed around your customers and your brand, not a purchased theme. Every page has one clear job.

  • Copy and SEO structure

We write or edit the copy, plan pages around what Kelowna customers search for, and set titles, headings and schema.

  • Speed and mobile

Built mobile-first and tested against Core Web Vitals. Most of your customers will see the site on a phone.

  • Forms wired to your CRM

Enquiries land in GoHighLevel or your CRM with the source attached, and trigger an instant reply.

  • Accessibility

Designed to WCAG 2.2 AA: readable contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text and labelled forms.

  • Care plan

Hosting, security updates, backups, small edits and monthly improvements, so the site never goes stale.

How we work

The Build-to-Book Process™

Six steps, one owner on our side, and a clear sign-off at each stage so nothing surprises you.
  1. Discover

A working session on your customers, services, competitors and what a good enquiry looks like.

  2. Map

Sitemap, page goals and keyword plan. We decide what each page must answer before anything is designed.

  3. Design

Homepage and key templates designed in your brand. You review real content, not lorem ipsum.

  4. Build

Fast, accessible build with forms, tracking and CRM connections tested end to end.

  5. Launch

Redirects from old URLs, Search Console and analytics set up, and a post-launch crawl to catch anything broken.

  6. Improve

Monthly reporting on enquiries and search visibility, with small improvements shipped every month on a care plan.

Which platform is right: Next.js, WordPress or Webflow?

The right platform depends on who will edit the site and how much it needs to do. We recommend one honestly rather than defaulting to whatever we sell most.

How we choose a platform
PlatformBest forTrade-offs
Next.jsBusinesses that want the fastest possible site, strong SEO foundations and custom integrations.Content edits go through a CMS we set up; plugins aren't a thing.
WordPressTeams that already know WordPress or need a specific plugin ecosystem.Needs regular updates and good hosting to stay fast and secure.
WebflowMarketing teams who want to edit layouts visually without a developer.Monthly platform fees and less flexibility for complex integrations.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

Not if it's planned properly. Rankings drop after a redesign when old URLs disappear without redirects, content that was ranking gets deleted, or the new site is slower. We map every existing URL to its new home, keep or improve the content that already ranks, and set permanent (301) redirects before launch. Then we watch Search Console for the first few weeks and fix anything that slips.

Outcomes

What changes for your business

  • More enquiries from the same traffic

Clear offers, visible phone numbers and short forms turn more of your existing visitors into leads.

  • Faster follow-up

Leads go straight into your CRM with an instant reply, so no enquiry sits in an inbox.

  • A site Google can read

Server-rendered pages, clean structure and schema give search engines and AI answers something to cite.

Why a Kelowna web design partner?

Kelowna customers search differently from big-city customers. They look for a trade in Rutland or West Kelowna, compare wineries on a phone from a patio, and expect to book a clinic without calling. A local team knows the neighbourhoods, the seasons and the competitors you're up against.

We're based downtown on Leon Ave and work with businesses across the Okanagan, from Lake Country to Penticton. You can meet us in person, and we'll build the site around the way your customers actually decide.

FAQ

Web Design questions, answered

How much does a website cost in Kelowna?

Most small business websites in Kelowna cost between $2,500 and $10,000, depending on page count, copywriting and integrations. DMK's five-page sites start at $2,500 plus a $160/month care plan, and ten-page sites start at $3,000 plus $200/month. See pricing or get an instant estimate.

How long does a website take to build?

Most DMK websites launch in four to eight weeks. A focused five-page site can be faster; larger sites with custom integrations or lots of content take longer. The biggest variable is usually how quickly content and feedback come back.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

Not when it's planned. We keep the content that already ranks, redirect every old URL to its new page with a 301, and monitor Search Console after launch. Most sites hold or improve their rankings because the new site is faster and better structured.

Do you write the copy?

Yes. Copy is included. We interview you, write the pages in plain language your customers use, and structure them so each one answers the questions people search for. You approve everything before launch.

WordPress, Webflow or Next.js: which is right for my business?

Next.js suits businesses that want top speed and custom integrations. WordPress suits teams that already use it or need specific plugins. Webflow suits marketing teams who want visual editing. We'll recommend one based on who edits the site and what it needs to connect to.

Do you host and maintain the site?

Yes, on a monthly care plan. It covers hosting, security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, small content edits and a monthly improvement. You can also host it yourself; you own the site and the domain either way.

Can the website connect to GoHighLevel or my CRM?

Yes. Forms, booking and chat can post straight into GoHighLevel, HubSpot or most CRMs, tagged with the page and campaign they came from, so you can see which pages produce customers. See revenue growth systems.

Is the site accessible?

We design and build to WCAG 2.2 AA: sufficient colour contrast, keyboard navigation, visible focus, alt text, labelled forms and support for reduced motion. That helps every visitor and reduces legal risk.

Do I own the website?

Yes. You own your domain, content and design. If you ever leave, we hand over the code or site export and all account access.
